AICPA has partnered with the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative faculty at North Carolina State University to offer its 1½ day workshop: Strengthening Your Enterprise’s Risk Oversight for Strategic Benefit. This workshop helps board and audit committee members understand expectations for greater risk oversight and develop effective audit committee practices for evaluating and monitoring techniques used to manage entity risks so that stakeholder value is protected and enhanced. Senior executives will find this information helpful as well due to the interaction between the board, audit committee and senior executives.
This high-level, well-attended forum - limited to 50 participants - offers attendees an interactive setting for dialogue with leading experts on trends related to the intersection of ERM and board and audit committee governance and strategic planning, in addition to providing an opportunity for the exchange of ideas.
